delivery, but his wife answered the call and told my diplomat that her husband
Mr. Stiward had a fatal car accident which led to his death some few hours
later. Mr. Stiward has already paid the demur rages to the security company, he
paid for Bullion van that took the consignment to the airport and he paid
for custom check report he also assisted us in getting the DRUG / ANTI
TERRORIST CERTIFICATE, but unfortunately he died
in a car accident, that was why Mr. Walker Mensah has to deposit the
consignment with a warehouse over there in States and called us to

Picked up on the call as I had time to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. I could hear all kinds of other people talking in the background so it must have been a call center. First question from him was "how are you feeling" to which I answered "fine". He then asked if I was on Medicare to which I answered "No". He seemed surprised and that answer seemed to throw him off track a little as he started stuttering. I then went on to say "...so you're targeting seniors". He denied that even though it was obvious. Apparently I hit a nerve or he hadn't been trained on how to respond as he hung up after that. Guess he was looking for an easy target but didn't find what he was looking for during this call. Must be new as I usually can get them wound up tight enough for them to start swearing at me. When I laugh at them it makes it even better. Darn, I was looking for a good battle. No problem as I'm sure they will call back.
I got a call from them on June, 8. They hung-up w/ no message. As soon as I saw the area code: I guessed it had to be another senior scam. From the useful posts above (thanks) it seems that I was right. I get frequent such calls from NY. Even though I am on the NDNCR; I seem to get a scam call or two almost daily from all over the US !. This all started as I approached age 65. It ramped-up after I applied for Social Security. Either the banks, phone companies, or the govt. is releasing the names of seniors on some list; or someone is hacking this info. If someone offers to remove you from their call list and you are already on the NDNCR; why would you trust them to follow through ?
