A man calling himself Jack Cooper called my wife & told her that he was with the IRS calling about a lawsuit against us. She asked him where the IRS was located...long pause "Washington, DC" to which my wife responded "That is incorrect". The caller then hung up
I received 2 calls today saying I was being sued and that I urgently needed to call 718-530-1853. Sounds like a scam to me. I would assume the court would send me a document in the mail informing me of the lawsuit.

Had a voicemail, some thing, court case against us, please call this number. Call originated in Ky 606-669-0865. Wanted you to call the 718 number. IRS never calls.
This number is from a scammer. Calling for a law suit filed against me. This person left a message in the voice mail that I have call back at this number (718)303-1867 or else I will be held in contempt by the court.
