This caller just called to inform me my computer had been downloading malicious viruses. Which is a blatant lie since I have been doing lots of computer work recently and had the whole thing wiped for other issues. They had a very thick accent and claimed to be working for Microsoft. The caller ID said unknown number as well which was a dead giveaway. Basically they are trying to sucker unknowing people into giving them their computer information. I highly suggest you report this activities to law enforcement and keep others well informed to prevent unknowing victims falling for their lies.
"George" called from Microsoft Headquarters. lol Yes, George with the heavy Indian accent. Apparently, my computer was communicating directly with headquarters & I needed to follow instructions to remove the malware. lol I advised George to start running, as I was on my way.
