Here's a thought: You say that you know you are being called by creditors, are these calls legit in any way? Are you actually behind on payments? As you can see, creditors can be good at finding people. If you have legit creditors calling about being behind on payments, seems to me you need to address that issue.
If the calls are from debt scammers, maybe you want to look into blocking the calls? Most cell carriers can do that, as can many phones/smart phones.
If you changed your number you are probably receiving calls for the former owner since all numbers are recycled. They probably got rid of their number for the same reason you did. Instead of putting up with the calls, try learning what you need to know to deal with these people.

Collection agency asking for someone with unknown name. 20min after I asked them to remove the number from calling list I received a call from a telemarketer. Coincidence?
They call every single day. They don't leave a message. I do not answer numbers that I don't know because I am not expecting anyone I don't know to call me + if it was important they'd leave a message.. Very annoying as sometimes they call TWICE A DAY. I do owe money to some companies but they have either A-Sent me letters in the mail or B-Called me and left a message. Most of my unpaid debt was handed over to a collection agency which also either A- Sent me letters in the mail or B- Called me and left a message.
I have yet to answer whoever this is and I refuse to do so.
THEY CALL ME EVERY. SINGLE . DAY. MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY. I do not owe and debt and this is a brand new phone. I have Sprint. They have to be giving numbers away because I literally just got my new phone yesterday and they literally called the same time they call every other day... Doesn't make sense. I will do some more digging and update when i find out who these people are.
