Just got a call 5 minutes ago and it was a woman who said "hello" after me and that was it, she stayed on the line for another minute while I just started asking who it was and why they were calling and all she did was breathe into the phone, then she hung up
I just got the call as I was putting my 6mth old down for a nap. I was already fustrated and when he said consumer financial, I said I don't want what you are selling. He said I'm not selling anything and you don't know what we do, and I replied no and I don't want to. He then said well you signed up for this service. BIG MISTAKE!!! I know who I give my number out to and that wasn't one of them, I again said I didn't want what he was offering and to take my number off of his call list. Which made him angry cause then he got real nasty and was like I don't care what you want, I'm going to keep calling. I said do that, and I will report you. He then kept going on and on, so I said you know what lets make this easy, you call again and I'll get my husband who is a cop file a harassment charge on you (he really isn't) but I swear that guy hung up so fast it wasn't even funny. And like other people said it was a guy with an accent, I would say middle eastern accent, and when he got upset you could really hear it. I also called the number back and got a disconnected answer, so then I goggled it and got this board. I also reversed number looked it up, and it says it's an unpublished New York City number
received call while at work. Did not answer. Caller did not leave message. I tried calling it back and it said that the international call I was trying to make was not allowed from my line and to push 00 to get assistance from an operator. I hung up. I sent a text back to the number that my cell number is listed with the Do Not Call Registry (for what that's worth).
P.S. I have no credit card debt, outstanding accounts, or even a mortgage payment or car payment...
Woman caller said I was $5000.00 in the rear on my American Finance loan. I told her I don't even have a loan with American Finance. She hung up on me before I could get her name!
they keep calling - I KNOW it's a scam and they won't stop calling me! I am calling this number "HANG UP" on my cell and will read them the riot act if and when they call again
I got two calls today. Both claiming I owed $5000 in credit card and medical bills or debt. She was also in a India sounding voice. I told her both times that I was on the do not call list. Both times she hung up. Why would any of us give this person one ounce of information? You know darn well its a scam.
