Guy called claiming to be Bruce Thompson (CFO of Bank of America) calling to notify me (from the claims dept no less) that I had been selected as a recipient of a $13k check from the IRS Tax Pool.
SCAM --- a call supposedly from Bank of America CFO, Bruce Thompson. Caller said that I had won $36,000+ but first I needed to send him $400 for the IRS. This is a total SCAM!!
I received a call from a guy claiming to be Bruce Thompson, a CFO of Bank of America. He said that I was due a certified cashier's check for $15K from tax insurance bundled into a tax pool. He did not make any sense. I am sure that this is a scam! Beware!
