Just called and told me I owed $4000 in taxes from 2012 and if I didn't pay legal action would be started against me. I told him I knew nothing about this and had always paid my taxes. He said the IRS isn't disputing that, but that there was a discrepancy that hadn't been paid. I told him I needed documentation, that this was the 1st I'd heard of it. He got angry then and said he was just trying to help me, but would give me no other information other than to ask for money. I hung up and researched his number. Aargh. What a scam!
