What a very clever way to try and get people to give you their phone number. Did they teach you that in Scam 101? Do yourself a favor (and the rest of us who don't wan these calls. It's ver simple: if no one answers, or no one provides any information, or if someone says "take me off your list", then just remove that number you just called from your call list. As far as spoiling your good name when someone writes on this site, you did that to yourself when you took the job. Which is just another example of the intelligence level of you and your company, whatever it may be.
My personal method of dealing with these calls is simply to remember that Patience is a virtue . . . so, now I wait until the third ring, then go into my very quiet empty guest room, and hit the answer button. I say absolutely nothing, and let the phone sit there off the hook until they hang up. If they call again, I do the same thing again. I can outlast them. Having raised four sons, I learned a lot of patience. Hope they are having fun.

Sir, I respect your level of thinking, but just imagine if you received a call from my end that means i have your number... If i want to harass you why will I ask the number again... Its to stop the call ... rather than not answering it and keeping it in a silent room, I would suggest answer the call and just say please put me on the DNC list... that would save your time and mine cause the calls are dialed by a computer... thanks...
