The DNC is not a call blocker, it can not protect you from foreign country's, scammers, frauds and illegal callers. Charity, some survey, political calls are exempt from the DNC though they can get into trouble if they do not place you on their internal DNC when asked. Debt Collections fall under the FCRA/FDCPA laws.
This number called my friends phone , Calling themselves the federal goverment. The caller sounded female but was inaudible when she spoke. The only thing that he heard was from the call was something about $7000 and federal grants. My friend hung up after this.
received 2 calls from this number when I answer they hang up I called back a man with a west indian accent said it was the federal government grant association and that I qualify for a tax free $7.000. grant he gave out a website which I couldn't understand so I called him a scammer and hung up.
