He called (said he was with JPT) and got really nasty when I wouldn't put him through to my boss. I put him on hold to google the number. When I got him back on the line, I said that my boss was unavailable, and he got very nasty with me. He was like, "Why did you lie to me? I thought you said he was in." Then he hung up. What a jerk!
George w/ JPT called and asked for my boss. The # on caller ID showed (718) 759-9536. George said he spoke previously with the boss (not) and was calling in reference to "vertical integration recommendations." Please! When pressed for more information, George simply said, "Just ask if he remembers me. We've spoken before." Eventually George hung up when I asked him to remove our # from his calling lists. I really dislike these types of callers--rude, rude, rude.
Caller asked for the owner by name, i told him he was at the superbowl til next week - he exclaimed "superbowl!! but this is urgent!" as i was saying that i could IM him with a number he hung up. i googled the number and found this site - fascinating how tech works. i want to call him back and tell him he's famous..
