This caller by the name of Danny Rivera states he is from Jet Blue American Airlines. He states he is looking for driver with at least a Class D license to hire at $18.50/hr. He then will tell them to send $200 by Western Union but to a different name for example Israel Vasquez. Every caller is sending money through western union to a different name. Changes name all the time. Then after they get the money, they won't pick up the phone and/or would hang up the phone if they recognize your voice and know that they got you already.
Someone named Joseph Rivera called my church using this number. He said that he's a manager for American Airlines and was visiting his mother who also had company over, a lady by the name of Maria who according to him attends my church. And Maria told him that there were several people in our congregation in need of employment so she told him to call the church office. He says that he's looking for 20 people to work for the airline just picking up tickets from passengers for $18.50/hr. This all seemed weird to me since we do have several Marias in our congregation but they all prefer going by their middle names so I asked him which Maria he spoke to and he said he didn't know her last name.
He is Joseph Ramirez now. What good is this American system if they can't stop criminals like this guy from tring to steal your hard earned money. Typical American trying to take advantage of you for money.
He called our church in Hollywood florida stating that he's represents American airlines. That he's looking for people to start working at Miami international airport starting salary at 18.00 to 22.50 w/ experience. He goes by the a fake name Jose Rivera. He wanted money wired to him for uniforms and they will start immediately. ANYONE OR ANY CHURCH WHO STUMBLES INTO THIS INDIVIDUAL BEWARE IS A SCAM.
