A man with a heavy Indian accent calling himself Roger Anderson with the Financial Crime Dept. called my work number saying that Tiffany Taylor did not carry through on what she said she would do and that either she or I needed to call him back in 5 minutes or he would file criminal charges. I don't know any Tiffany Taylor and told him he had a wrong number, later he called my mobile leaving the same message. After doing some research on the web, I feel confident that it is a scam.
I received a phone called yesterday.. they had my last four social security number and my old bank name. they even had my email address. they said that I did a payloan for 1025.00 they could not tell me exactly when in 2009 I supposly took this loan... I ask for paper work and they said that it would be here today at my home or work place. Needless to say... I did not get any paper work today...
I received the same call from the same 2 numbers...threatning me and just down right rude. When I called back to get thier web site he would not give it to me and when I asked who again do i owe money to he told me he is not customer service but would not give me customer services name. They will reap what they sow...trying to scare people into paying something that they either do not owe or paid off a long time ago. It makes me mad that they got to me for a few minutes making me think that I did owe this.
I received a message from Charles Green - funny there was someone else that received a call from a Green that posted - said to call about a legal matter. I called it and boy did they take me for a ride for about 30 minutes. After talking to my husband, and me trying to figure out how to come up with almost $2000 I called back to get the web site, they said they are with LLC Legal Office (which there are several web sites with that name) and he would not give it to me and hung up on me. I called back a could times and he was the only one that would answer the phone. Finally the last time i called i asked him just who again do i owe money to, what is the name of the payday loan company. He told me he was not customer service and that people would show up to my work tomorrow and that i will need to find another job and he does not give a damn. Was sooo rude and then told me not to call back again and hung up on me. I then started to do some research myself and found this site...funny...all the stories are the same. These people must stop what they are doing. Oh..and the number that Charles Green called me back on was 320054348 which is not even a correct #...its missing a number.
I got a call today from Christine Bennet from #718-873-9635. Telling me to contact them immediately or to have my attorney of record contact them. If I didnt she could only wish me luck. Ok really could they please lose my number. They tried this in July of 2010 and when they couldnt provide me with a copy of the contract I stopped entertaining them and of course I gave them a taste of there own medicine. lol
