I rcvd a phone call from a "John Smith" he was asking for a co-worker . I told him coworker left for the day and he asked when he could call again. I told him between 6am-and 2pm. Then Mr. Smith said very demanding " Get pen and paper and take my number" Then he asked I repeat number which I did and caller said "No you are wrong!" It was very hard to understand him. So he repeated number and paused so I can repeat each mumber to him, then he asked again for me to repeat the whole number back to him..I told him I have the number and I would give msg to my coworker..Caller again sounded agiated and said "Repeat number!" very demanding. I told him "I have number and will give msg you called now have a nice day" I hung up.. This person continued to call 3more times!!! in a 5 min span and did not stop until I repeated phone number!! these people are CRAZY and I don't understand how they are allowed to do this.
I too got a call from this number. Lucky I did not answer and got a voice mail from them. I reviewed the phone number and tried to pull up information on the company prior to calling them back. The individual on the voice message and on the phone was very hard to understand. They gave me weird names like Shawn Smith, Jason Daisy & Daniel w/each different interaction. When I called back to ask information about the company they refused to comply unless I gave them all my information. They put me on hold for a long period of time and didn't pick back up. My recommendation is to NOT give any personal information over the phone. By law and collector or any requesting information for fraudelant charges is supposed to send you the case information via US mail. If they refuse and continue to be demanding over the phone use terms like, "if you call me back you will be harrasing me and I will contact to attorney general". They cannot and should not refuse to send you any information via US mail if they're trying to help you or work a claim.
