Has anyone that has received these calls used annnualcreditreport.com recently? I am trying to think of how my phone number could have got out there, and I recently got my credit report.. so maybe that way?
I talked to my bank and they are getting alot of calls about this. The one common thread seems to be we all have a Verizon Account. I did call Verizon and they did sound serious about looking into it. If you have a Verizon account I would call them also.

I have had three calls from this # and three from a 201-918-4852. When I called the # back i was told of two choices. to wait and speak to a rep. or to be put on the do not call list. I tried both and no one picked up. I hung up because I know a lot of scams have started going around more. I have Verizon. Hope to find out what is going on.
They must have a south dakota verizon phone list, got a call last night at 11:44 pm, and my husband got on this morning at 7:15--best to warn your kids if they have cell phones!
