I received a call at work. the man was very hostile saying "you need to call me now!. Of course, I went outside to call back & Ryan Smith is stating that I recevied a cash loan of $300. He also stated I was being sued for tax fraud & a few other things. He asked if I wanted to settle the matter or go legal. I informed him that if it was something I did, I would like something in writing meaning the supposed company name, phone number, but Mr Ryan told me that in order for me to get anything in writing, I would have to settle. He claims this company has tried to reached me via email 4x & considered the debt as STOLEN. He also informed me that I couldn't get anything in writing because of "restrictions" but would not go in depth. Shortly after, I asked for a supervisor & I spoke to Roger. He also was very hostile. He would not let me speak or provide information to me. I asked where the company was located but he clearly stated "I don't have time for this. I don't have time for you people. You either gonna settle now or take it legal where I would have to pay over $2000. Ryan Smith stated that if I go legal, he will have his guys come to my workplace & have his guys excort me to court. I've researched every account I've had & there is no such transaction. At the end of my workday, I received another call claiming I need to settle so I quickly hung up.
I got a call from this Ryan Smith also and he had me so scared at first and said the same thing about th emoney being stolen that I owe 612.00 and if I didn't pay it that day it would be 712.00. I called him back and told him I would not pay the money unless I got the paperwork first. He of course told me he would send it after I settle. I told him I wouldn't and that I reported him to the Attorney General's office because he threatened my sisters that if I didn' t call he would prosecute them. He got angry with me of course told me you were already in jail Carmen and that he wouldn't work with me anymore and my fine would be 4000.00
I received this very same phone call today...almost word for word as the following messenger stated...except this time is was a John Williams...has anyone reported this as a scam...they even called a co worker.
