A male person called me from this number. He also called me from Con Edison's phone number as well. He is soliciting people to switch to another electric/gas company. He comes across as extremely unprofessional. It is difficult to get him to explain himself and what he wants. He won't give you his name, and even hangs up, as he did to me when he called from Con Ed's phone number. I told him not to ever call me again. So far I have not heard from him again.
I got a call stating that I would receive 15% rebate for the next 12 months from National Grid. It was hard to understand the woman, she was foreign. She confirmed my address and then asked for my National Grid account number. I told her if she was from National Grid, she would have my number. I told her I did not have a paper bill or the account number. The payments are taken out automatically. She said thank you and hung up. I guess I'm not getting a 15% rebate!
I saw this number come up 14!!! times on my caller ID in one day within an eight hour time frame.Each time a message was not left on the answering machine. When I saw this number come up again two days later when I was home I answered it.The male caller,who sounded foreign,stated he was from National Grid asking me about my bill.I explained I do not own the house and do not have any National Grid accounts in my name,connected to my phone number.I also told him it was extremely ridiculous to call me that many times in one day and that if I got another call from this number they were being reported.
