Apparently I won a lottery which I didn't enter from the National Homeowners Bureau (which doesn't seem to exist), but it was in conjunction with the National Association of Realtors and Bloomberg News. Searched both those sites for any lottery info, and came up empty.
You couldn't have won the lottery, MN...I was told I won it! Received a call on October 1 from this number telling me I was the lucky winner of the Home Lottery Conquer Cancer In Your Lifetime Draw, sponsored by the National Association of Realtors and Bloomberg. The representative said she was with the National Homeowners Association Bureau. I could not find said bureau on-line and the National Association of Realtors asked me to provide the information to their trademark folks (called because I knew it was a scam but being in corporate marketing and comms my entire career, I know how damaging this kind of activity can be to a brand). Oddly enough, we are in the midst of contracting to build a new home - no idea if there is a direct connection or if this was random. Either way, they can keep their "grand prize between $300K and $16M" for themselves.
