it's from something called "college bound". Though the guy i talked to was clearly eating on the phone and didn't answer the phone saying anything like hey this is college bound can i help you? He said "Did you miss a call from us?" Doesn't seem a legit place to me if they keep calling and hanging up without leaving a message and answer the phone like that.
i keep getting calls from these new york numbers and they all do the same thing. they call me all day, don't leave messages, and if i call back they hang up most of the time. I answered once and the lady told me i had won a scholarship and tried to get information.
i looked up the last number on here and many people have had the same scholarship experience. they also said they hang up so that you will call back and they charge a redicuously high price.
I keep getting calls from this number and it is really bothering me. I never answer these calls and after reading other experiences, I dont think that I will. I am appreciative to these people. I now know that this is a scam and that I can restrict the calls.
