Called home number, asked for an individual neither my wife nor I had ever heard of. When pressed, said the individual had referenced my wife's business (by name) and given our number, which is same as the business number. Wouldn't say the call was in reference to - Why they were trying to reach the individual.
to the guy that just called me ,if u want me to return your call stop trying to sound like a big shot and have some respect ,because u sound like a little pus on the phone
Depending on what state you live in, collection agencies should not be calling you that often. I know first hand that this is a shady collection agency that forces their collectors to break the FDCPA to collect them money... Know your rights and your state laws- look up FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act). And just a FYI if you live in MA, NY, NC, they can only have 1 contact with you in a 7 day period (contact includes talking to the customer or even leaving a message) If you are not the person they are looking for and you have told them that if they continue to call that is harrassment! Next time they call tell them you know the FDCPA laws and your state laws. GOOD LUCK!! ;)
Called and spoke to my father who is in his 80's and told him they needed to speak to me about a "personal" matter. They gave him a name, 800 number and ext# for me to call them back, and I can assure you THAT will never happen. Programmed the number in the phone as "DO NOT ANSWER" so the next time they call my dad will know not to pick up.
