I got 2 cas today but I was at work and couldn't answer and they never leave a message so assumed it was another scammer. They tried that on me few weeks ago and didn't work, but yeah NEVERTHELESS NEVER EVER give anyone personal info over the phone unless it's u calling your bank
Pre-recorded message from unnamed "courier service" alleging an "undeliverable package". I am not expecting any packages and any delivery service would specify their name (UPS, FedEx, etc). Said to press "1" to speak to a rep. Hung up.
This is a scam. They try to get your personal info and your credit card info. They tell you that you can settle the debt out of small claims court for much less than the current amount. they also make threats to send a process server out and that if you do not show up for court they will press charges for check fraud. DO NOT GIVE THEM INFO. CALL THEM OUT ON BEING A SCAM AND THEY WILL HANG UP AND NOT CALL BACK.
They called me an hour ago with a recording of a lady saying there was a package for me, and to touch a number on my keypad to connect. On my iPhone I have to hit several other buttons to get back to the keypad, and I lost connection. But I see from the posts here that it was a good thing I did!
