ID thieves, con artists and bill collectors buy and sell your information. These people want you to call them back in order to collect more information from you. If they get nowhere with you, they sell it to somebody else. Every time this happens, the people harassing you lose money. Don't ever give out or "confirm" ANY information over the telephone, including your name. Never push buttons or leave messages. All of these people are aware of this website. They have been posting here (800notes) to confuse people, usually tales about how hard it was to get rid of them.

You can help your entire community by doing what I did. Contact your local TV station and tell them about this website, so that they can share it with their viewers. I have offered good advice here. I encourage everyone to copy it and re-post as you see fit.
