Guy called four times within 5 minutes. First was a quick hang-up, second my son answered and he just heard background noise, third I answered. He addressed me by my first name and stated the call was regarding my subscription to Readers Digest which I do receive. He asked if I was happy and asked if I happened to use my Visa card to pay for my subscription. I stated I could not remember which card I used as it was months ago. He then asked if I wouldn't mind answering a few questions from his supervisor. I told him I was really busy and not interested. He immediately called back and stated that I misunderstood his intentions, he wasn't trying to sell me anything and could I just verify for his boss that he hadn't been rude to me. I agreed, so his supervisor came on asked me if the rep had been kind to which I answered yes, she then went on to thank me for my support and verify that I had agreed to pay $159.99 for 24 issues of RD. WHAT??? Yes mam that is what you agreed to. I began to tell her I had never agreed to any such thing when she promptly hung up on me. I am very worried that I may see unauthorized charges on one of my cards. Of course you cannot call them back. Their name on my caller id comes up as National Period
