I work for a debt management company helping consumers get OUT of debt. One of our clients provided this number for a "collector" stating they had purchased the debt (which does happen). Our client let us know that the rep was asking for her supervisor at work, called her husband (who is not on the debt), and was threatening lawsuit. We contacted this rep whom stated his name was Stephen Durello and was rude and nasty to us as well. We requested proof of his purchase on the account and the information of the attorney they were going to have handle the litigation process.
We never received any information and we were unable confirm his tie to the collector he states he's working for; FMS (whom our company works with to resolve debts).
We believe this man to be a scammer and highly recommend that anyone that gets a call from this number record the call, get the name of the rep calling, and report them immediately using the recorded phone call as proof.

They called my mom today telling her I gave them her SSN which I did not. The man was very rude to me and told me he would not send me any type of letter proving my debt is legit until I gave him my debit card numbers
