The scammer claims not to have a credit card.
The scammer promises to send you a money order or check.
Then, the MO is found to be fraudulent, or the check bounces... sometimes AFTER you send the items.
My friend and recruiter got the same message from coopersharon77. I'm a Mary Kay consultant also. Thank you for posting because I'm just beginning my journey with Mary Kay and certainly don't need this kind of scam to deal with. God bless.
I received the exact same message today. But I knew it was a scam because the prices she had on there were incorrect. The address that was giving to me was 40 Wellington Dr, Carteville GA 30120 which I check it out and this residents belongs to the Smith family. The phone number I was given is a Kansas, Missouri phone number. (816-388-9692) I'm going to report this to Mary Kay legal department and let them investigate this scam.
