Received a heavily accented call on my home phone and a missed call on my mobile phone from 732-227-1772. Thank goodness a good friend had told me to look these unrecognized calls up on Google before trying to respond! How did they get both my #'s????
Broken english recruiter pushing for an all inclusive rate for a job 1500 miles away. Would not give pay range. "You interested, You interested, give rate!" WTF. This recruiting company - IT Trailblazers is just a little better then those in India that buy a US cell number and do the same. F a company that hires recruiters like this.
Some Indian woman just called me... indian accent. She didn't sound like a recruiter. She said there was a job for me in Regina. She didn't seem to understand English very well. I think they are a scam but I can't prove it.... but there were a few signs that they weren't who they said they were:
1) There's that time delay before someone comes on line like all those telemarketers. I notice that delay because I am conditioned to be blunt and rude when I get that delay. LOL
2) She asked where am I located? they should know that if they have my resume....
I realize now what they must have done... if you google people and get their linked in, you can skim some information and exploit it and that's what they are doing!
I realize that I have a note that I am looking for work on my FB and Linked in.... then if you note my occupation, you can phone and say we have a job in ... (what ever your job choice is) and it's in Regina... you interested?
When I asked if the interviews were local, she didn't understand what the F*^% I was talking about.
I have received 4 calls in a row. I am not interested in working for Indian consulting firms. I am tired of them calling/email jobs I dont even qualify for, they spam you with every job that has one word that matches your profile.
