Recruiting scam. Third line recruiters that want personal info and right to represent for a company they have no access to. They submit your resume to first or second line recruiters who trash your resume unless they can't find a candidate on their own. As a result you have wasted your time, shared too much info and knocked yourself out of the running for a job. Too many hands on your wage means lower pay for you while the client is paying big bucks to the recruiters involved.
India based recruiting firm/scam? Received an email from Avance, at exactly the same time I got a call from this number which others have identified as Avance. From experience on other similar MOs the "interviewer" will have a hazy idea of what the job, no idea where the job is in relation to where I am (about 2000 miles away), and will require all sorts of personal information such as social number, passport number, citizenship status, age, bank details, etc. without giving out any information as to what the job is.
