My little freak me out call was from 732-685-3698. he was playing back messages while trying to threaten me, threatening to go to the police? "Do we both agree this is you"?, Hell no, goodbye.
He said he was from Executive Escorts. Gave his name but I'm horrible with names, especially under these conditions!
I'm so sorry some of you actually sent money, OUCH!
Get right on several things if this happens to you:
~take off your voicemail ID,name and any identifying information like most have when you call a number, pretty easy to get other numbers or an address or two and really freak a dude out, if you call his cell and get, "you've reached, John Smith". So just change your outgoing message to nothing for a couple of days, and make sure you have a blank for your voice ID attached to your number.
Plus, if it's your cell phone, at one time or another you may have posted it up on the net somewhere, that it can be googled. Amazing how much info you can discern from seemingly nothing. Google your damn number and take it off of whatever site it may pop up on or from. Forget the long wait of a call to your phone carrier, do an online chat with your phone carrier (faster and easier than calling) and they will give you step by step instructions to block calls, text, photos, etc. Most carriers allow 50-100 numbers to be blocked and you can block and unblock with a click and they take effect in minutes.
Again so sorry some of you have gotten nailed, once they get a name or address the whole ability to F##k with you escalates considerably. So I hope you catch this quick.
Question: How long have you folks experienced them keeping at this? Or did you have to kill your number and get another?
Got a call from 732-685-3698 with the same story. First was a voicemail from a Sammie Dejerano who said he owned the company and said a car will be at my house between 6:30 and 7. I called the number back and was given to a Frank Lueangelano who then stated that he owned the company an Elite escorts and massage .com, (can't find any such web site). He threatened to sue me if money was not paid by 5:00 pm. The guy is real pushy bordering on threatening. I was kinda freaked at first(I don't know why, I've never done anything involving an escort), but once I found this message board, and another one with everyone telling the same stories I was quite relieved.
This is a total scam. I mentioned the first voicemail which said that a car was coming to my house and he acted like i was crazy. I asked him what my full name was and what my address was since he obviously had it since a car was coming this evening. He went crazy and told me I would hear from his lawyer, and no future contact would be made by him, but from everyone elses stories I have a feeling I'll be hearing from him again. If he calls again I'm going to try to record the conversation with my phone and report it to the police. Anyone else still getting calls from this number?
