Male caller on behalf (so called) of the Vets. Asked me to participate in a "drive to help Veterans". I asked him to mail me the information so that I could review it when I had more time as I had just gotten home from work. He insisted that I choose the level of sponsorship on the phone. He continued to ask me about the the sponsorship level and when I repeated to have it mailed to me, he said "I'm sorry we were unable to help you" and hung up.
Sad that they are using the Veterans as a source to scam people.
Person claimed they were from Vet administration calling MY UNLISTED cell number asking to speak to my dead father!!!!!!!
Called the number back twice no one answered. Shameful
Trying to get false donations. They start off asking if this is "BLANK" and if your address is "BLANK" when you say yes, they take that as your going to donate. ITS A SCAM- do not say YES ever. also telll them to remove you from the list and get their ADDRESS And ask for their CHARITY EIN number. THEY'LL HANG UP!! BE SAFE!!
