I don't understand people to keep calling your house and never leave a message of who called and what it is in reference to. If you are about business then be about it. State your business or move on. Keep it one hundred.

Debt collectors don't leave messages because they have no idea who will hear it. Plus they like to sneak up on you if they can. Another reason is that in their view, by not leaving a message, they can claim that first contact was not made, relieving them of the responsibility of sending out that first letter as required by law. This is why you need to be aware of your rights and their responsibilities.
