This number's ID said "South Amboy". At least once a day I get a call from a different number with this ID about lowering my energy costs. I block each number, yet still new numbers pop up every day with the same automated message. So annoying.
This number calls our cell phone and landline which are not at all similar numbers. No message is ever left. Just another hang up call from a CRIMINAL calling to perpetrate a scam. They want to victimize whoever answers the phone and profit from their call. They are NOT telemarketers!!!! They do not represent a legitimate company or business. They are CRIMINALS!!! We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call.
We get several calls every day from different variations of the last 4 digits on both our cell phones. Every time I block them they make up a new #. Always says South Amboy. They also call the landline and a recorded message starts at the same time as my answering machine picks up. It says something about lowering energy costs. How do we band together and put a stop to these nuisance calls by scammers?! Do not call registry doesn't work! The only calls I get on my landline seem to be scammers but I don't want to give up my landline because of them. I wonder if government employees get these same calls? There needs be a way to stop them!
This trash use 732-479 exchange and vary the last 4 digits. Simple but effective trick to avoid being blocked. My app allows to block area code and 3 digit exchange. Very useful against this MF.
