I have been dealing with this same person. He wants a website built but wants me to pay the graphic artist for him. Wants me to charge $2900 to his card and then pay his graphic artist. He has text, called and emailed me. Agreed to pay me $5000 to build a simple website with $2500 up front. He is using a new number 248-572-3981. The only way I found this was I required all the information on the graphic artist and he gave me the phone number on this page as their number. Not sure what he is running but I got clear of all of this. He is very persistent to get you to charge his credit card. Told me his credit was bad so could not do cash. That was my first clue things were bad, how could someone charge over 5 grand and have bad credit!

He is at it again with the phone number 732-497-2193.  He contacted our company this morning to book limo transportation with our company for his "daughters wedding".  He talked to a driver and the driver tried to get this guy to call me (the manager) but the guy insisted on conversation through text message and email.  He would not contact me (the manager) even through text.  He managed to convince the driver to give him his personal e-mail address.  The driver called me and talked to me about the situation and I instructed him to forward me all communications with this guy that had happened.  As soon as the driver called and was telling me about this, I got on google and looked up the number.  I am no stranger to these "scam calls".  He sent my driver an email from the email address of [email protected].  The name listed on the email "from" line is darth lender.  This guy seriously needs to come up with more convincing stories.  at the end of the e-mail he says "Are you ready for my credit card to run and I need a little favor."  I hope no one actually falls for this guys lies.

E-mailed business under the name Lawrence Fortune. Asked us to cater a retirement party and his private carrier would pick up the order since he has "cancer". he asked us to run his card through for the whole amount plus the carrier amount and we could wire transfer through western union. As soon as he said western union i knew it was a scam not our first rodeo. I went along with it and asked him for the company information and number he never replied. oh everything was through text too. Here we are making an honest living for the scum of the earth to try and scam us. shame on these people!

Lawrence Fortune contacted me wanted to build him a fence.  Should always remind myself never to respond to business text message inquiries.  Number is  248-572-3981.  He even emailed me photos of the yard he wanted a fence built on.  Kept on texting me, then when I quoted a install price he starts with the bs about the surgeries and needing to help someone who cant take a charge, what kind of machine do I have?   So i looked up the number and boom, here you all are.  Told him he may think he is winning the game, but in truth he is lower than dog [***].  Then I blocked the number.

Same thing happened at my business. He would text me at late hours trying to scam me.
