These are not real "businesses". They are SCAMMERS. They "do business" when someone is dumb enough to answer a phone number or ID they don't recognize. And then, when the person who answers the phone is gullible enough to give them a credit card #. That person gets ripped off for thousands of $$$$. Extremely profitable for the SCAMMERS.
Thank heavens for Google Voice. Ported my home number over and now every call that annoys me gets to hear "the number you are calling is not in service" anytime after their first call and I don't get interrupted by them.
This particular caller is a robot and plays a recorded message from some NRA idiot then wants to get your reaction to the message.
I get a call almost everyday, even on week-ends. I want to see if I get a call tomorrow on a holiday.
I don't have a call blocker and I am looking into getting one. This bozo will not stop unless I do.
I don't answer and doesn't leave a message. I have answered the phone and than quickly hung up.
So now, when the phone rings, it only rings a few times and then the caller hangs up.
I will contact the DO NOT CALL list but don't know if that will even work.
