I put my phone number on Craig's List because I needed to find a tenant quickly and I was very busy. As a result, some disreputable organization got my number. I started receiving telemarketing calls every day from a variety of sources. This has been going on for almost a year now. I am on the do not call registry, but they do not care. Some calls were scams and some were referring me to other real businesses like Trinity Solar. If I returned the call, I got no dial tone. Since I am unable to stop the telemarketers and scammers from calling me, I can only pursue some form a justice through the real companies that pay the telemarketers. Now I schedule fake appointments to waste as much of their time as possible. It's the only way I can push back. Please do the same. If we all push back, they will vet their sources and stop the nonsense calls.
