I answered this call and the man stated he was from Choice Home. I did an online quote for coverage on home repairs.Which when I saw the cost of this, I didn't go forward because it was too much.
Well this man was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I had asked him about the program, how much deductible would be and how they replace broken items. He said "Well first, when were you looking to sign up for the program"? I answered honestly "Within the next 3 month's if the program is worth it". This was when he got RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL.
He answered "Well are you asking for a quote for up to 3 month's"? I said "Well I am looking into the program and what all it offers, other companies and who can give the better figures". He says "Well if that is the case, there is no sense in my even calling you". I cut him off and told him "With that attitude, it isn't worth calling back here and take my name and number out of your system"..
With a rude and disrespectful person making these calls and treating someone this way just because they want to make sure money isn't being wasted, this company won't be getting many people buying. My quote (online, not from rude man) was $648 and didn't say how much you would have to pay whenever anything breaks. I don't think I should have been talked to like I was and I don't trust companies that allow workers to deal with people badly. Plus the company isn't even in my state (and I didn't find any branch available close to me)..
I googled this company Choice home warranty. .they actually sell service contracts. .not actual warranties. .they lost a court case in june of this year for not paying out on customers claims..
