An AT&T Uverse technician just left my house when I received a call from this number. He was difficult to understand but was telling me about how my computer wasn't working properly. I told him a technician just left my house and everything was fine and I hung up.
I had the same thing happen today, then an UNKNOWN CALLER, then 844-218-7090. Pretty bad when people do you that way. (won't leave a message--they just hang up!
Not such a fantastic idea if you don't care to get cussed out by foreigners. Letting them get past their spiel is too much. Hang up immediately as soon as you hear a foreigner on the other end, especially if it's a random call. Some do, some don't, but I've been blasted with obscenities after I've told the caller I have no computer. Getting cussed out by Indians is rather humorous, though.
