They called at 8:15 PM -01/07/2015. The caller ID displayed as, "Cell Phone." The caller asked for me by name. The caller said, "This is the Ohio Omnibus Survey..." That is where I hung up. I know surveys are legally allowed to bypass the Do Not Call list, but this is still an annoyance to have them call late in the evening. The audio quality was also too good to be a cell phone, as Athens, OH is an area in the Appalachia section of Ohio with notoriously poor cell service. I could also clearly hear the sounds of other people talking in the background like the call was originating from a telemarketing boiler room. I am posting this complaint because the caller ID was deceptive - they darn well know that nobody would pick up if the ID said Ohio Omnibus Survey.
Ohio Omnibus Survey is a dot com for profit operation, and has no business engaging in this type of deceptive behavior.
