Recording says she's Melissa Overton & wants to go over you DP&L account. They claim they have a discount for you.
This isn't DP&L calling. It's just a leach calling. Don't trust any calls unless YOU make the call yourself to find out prices.
Ohio has been a hotbed of activity for utilities and telcos trying to get consumers to switch from one provider to another. This is the same hogwash, with misleading Caller ID and so on. Block these calls. (My online call-blocking service already had this dimwit on its list of crooks and spammers, and they blocked the caller after only one ring.)
Receving the same messages as the one above and it is calling multiple times a day. Blocking through my phone company. Tired of not being able to have a cell or home phone without being pestered all the time with bogus and scam calls.
Message was Melissa Overton calling about my DP&L utility account and I qualify for a discount....blah, blah, blah. DP&L is an Ohio utility company and I haven't lived in OHIO since 2002, so obviously I don't have a DP&L account and haven't for over 15 years. Hmmm....must be a flippin' SCAM!!! BLOCKED!
