Caller ID showed only the number and the often-seen notice "OUT OF AREA." Didn't have to report the number to my online call-blocking service, since they blocked the number. The Area Code is for southeast Ohio, in the Athens area. That's the home of Ohio University, and they've been calling alums a lot this year to give them donations (since the governor and legislature have reduced funding). No doubt they need funding, but the state budget should not be balanced on the backs of working families that have been struggling a lot as Ohio economically has sunk lower and lower. Bottom line: Average folks get hassled all the time by BS calls begging for money. I'm sick of this crap.
