Who called from 7402369682

Received SMS from this number that said the following:

"Hiya (my name)! This is Jen. Please add my SKype so we can chat a bit, its: shari.caldwellr"

Other people have posted that they have received something similar within the past 24 hours from different numbers.

Any info from anyone on how they would know my name and how they got my number? Any why ask for a skype convo?

I just got it last night.  Wife got pissed, lol  I don't know what they are doing but I'm glad you posted this.  The number I got it from was 718-673-9979

Got same message but from different number: 904-494-4863 Wife also got pissed =(

Same text. What is the scam? From (540) 784-1318
