Just got a call from 740-255-9134; caller i.d. Ohio. 1 ring, no one spoke when answered. Silence. It took a while for them to hang up. Not sure if listening to me say "hello, hello, how can I help you today?" repeatedly or a robo call. Called back and got "your call cannot be completed as dialed; please check the number and dial again.
Guess what. Scammers!!!! Spoofing numbers; checking to see if your number is 'live'.

They just called and I didn't answer. I'm getting more and more sales calls/robo calls these days and I'm getting more and more fed up with them. I pay for my phone service, it should be up to me who uses it. Why should someone be able to buy and sell that number? I hope these yokels enjoy listening to my answering machine because if I don't know the caller, I don't answer.
