Very rude man. Had to ask him several times what his name is and what company he was with. He finally said his name was "William" and he was calling about my First Energy account. I asked again what company HE was with. He finally said ATT Energy. I told him to put my number on his company's do-not-call list, and he yelled at me that he did not have to do that, and he slammed the phone down.
Very rude lady that tried to get a certain number off of our electric bill. Said it had to do with our meter and we needed to give her the code so she could send us a rebate check. Sounded very fishy. After she wouldn't say where exactly she was calling from I hung up on her and she proceeded to call back about 6 times in a row.
Called about lowering energy rates because we were part of a choice program and they were going to send a rebate check. She said they were from some energy company, which is not Illuminating Company. Seems like the fishy process that gas companies go thru to get your business unknowingly. I cannot say for sure if this is legit or not. This is the second time she called and i pushed it off saying I was not authorized to help.
Woman called and said her name was Irina. She wanted to talk with the person in charge of the Electric Bill - and then proceeded to tell me what my Meter number was and I told her I did not know. She then yelled - "No, I'm telling you that is your Meter number!" I asked what company she was with and was this a solicitation call - then she immediately hung up the phone. Our Caller ID said "Ironton OH."
