Caller says I need to return the call about my Gas charges. It's a come on to get you to change suppliers, who will then jack up you charges. Don't fall for this as they tell you if you don'tn switch you gas rates will get sur-charges.
Left a voicemail for me. A recording with a woman named Linda Brady stated that my Columbia or Dominion gas account has been flagged for review by their company. Asked me to call back because they have discounts for me. Definitely a scam.
Another one of the "alternate" natural gas suppliers. Want you to change from your current gas delivery company to their "much cheaper" service ... they are a secondary buyer and have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the actual delivery of your natural gas ... it will continue through the same pipe lines from the same company you always use but they get paid for buying in "bulk" ... if you experience a problem with the delivery or service they CANNOT help you and will refer you the the REAL gas company. Most of these "suppliers" offer some type of rebate or gift card if you switch ... chances are you'll never see the rebate or the gift card and they will give you some excuse as to why you don't receive it. WASTE OF TIME. Do your homework and, if you want to change, don't do it because of a telemarketer.
These morons called and left a message at my work phone number which clearly does not have a Columbia Gas account associated with it. I haven't had a Columbia Gas account since 2000 so I find it hard to believe anyone would be contacting me about an actual account.
