More likely, a collections/skip trace tactic (test call) yes.. they do actually test call, all the time.
Easiest solution: Block 'em ..as they do seem to be rather persistent.
I received two calls yesterda and on today. If I do not recognize the number or if they do not leave a message I do not call back. I pay my bills on time not sure why they are bugging me.
Calls 2-3 times a day, doesn't leave message. I picked up once to tell them to stop calling & no one will pick up the line, it's all automated. So much for being on the no call list.
