Got a call from 740-524-9868, no one spoke. Their computer must have snagged someone else first. Called back to remove number from their list, but the "operators were busy." They gave a web address as www.callmeyer.com.
A telephone service (I use therm "service" losely) for fund raisers and politicos. The web site has a place to ask to be removed from their list.
I used it.
Someone from this number calls me at least twice every day, including Saturdays and Sundays. We do not answer phone calls from numbers we do not know, and they never leave a message. We have been on the National Do Not Call list for years, so I don't know how they got our number, unless they got it from Craig's List where I applied for a job.
Isn't this a violation of the law and of Craig's List privacy agreement?
