Is this a scam number or is it really a phone number. Could it be a cell phone, seems made up to me, but caller id says it is "DIR ASST OH". I thought the legit directory assist was 555-1212 with whatever area code you are from. I don't answer calls like that. Could it be telemarketers? For a week before this I have been getting between 2-5 UNKNOWN calls. I am sick of this, how can I stop them?
I also have received at least 5 calls recently from DIR ASST OH.
The number listed is 216-555-0253.
I also ask - is this a spam call?
If I don't pick up, they ring 3 times then hang up.
If I do pick up, immediately it disconnects.
How long have these calls been going on? how can we stop them? Sal
