Said it was a federal issue, he would save us from the magistrate or grand jury. Call was from Marion, OH. Left a lengthy robo message and repeated it multiple times.
Have received five calls today from this number (from Marion, OH) with message from Kevin Mason threatening prosecution if I don't return the call to 9179320014. Haven't done so yet. Where do these people get the time? The number that the call is coming from is the 740 number.
I got few calls today from the same number, they are not tired of it and keep on calling. I have been getting similar calls for many months now and have been ignoring them. It is not always from the same phone number. It is easy to get new numbers and pretend to be calling from US, even though it may be from any part of the world. Most of my calls seems to be coming from someone who is Indian. I am Indian too and so I can easily recognize, and judging from the thick accent they may be calling from India itself, probably using VOIP like connection or using cheap SIM cards.
What frustrates me is that there is no easy way to stop them other then blocking their numbers which in itself are many.
