I answer but don't speak, in a few seconds the call disconnects without them saying anything.

Wife got a call from them on her cell. A recording said something about local robbery numbers in our area and wanted to know if they could place a sign in our yard. I automatically added them to the call blocker app on her phone so if that number ever calls back it goes straight to voice mail and her phone doesn't even ring. I'm going to dig and try to find out the address of their place of business. If it's within driving distance I'll pay them a personal visit and make them as uncomfortable as they make others. I might even film it.
