Using a number that used to belong to a veterinarian . claims to want my address to send an envelope for a donation to the police department. Didn't want to take no for an answer. I have had more than one police officer tell me that it's a waste of time for you to donate to these types of calls. The departments get very little ,if any of the money you donate. Want to donate to the police - go to your local department and ask them or donate to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in DC. They are legit and you can see their work .
