Call from automated Heather asking me about warranty and automated call asked if I wanted to speak with someone live... said yes... then disconnected. Afraid my saying yes will result in some charge or aughorization. What to do?
I, too, got a call from "Heather" regarding my vehicle's warranty. I asked to speak to a live agent, & once I got one, I immediately asked her if I could be taken off the list. I wanted to explain that these calls were coming from "Heather" from all sorts of #s from all over the country to all my phone #s, but the lady (who had a friendly voice through all this) said she'd take my number off her list. I was insistent & wouldn't stop talking & she wouldn't stop talking, so we talked over each other. She said she didn't want to argue with me & I didn't get a chance to tell her I wasn't arguing; I just wanted to know how all these calls could STOP!!! She just kept saying she'd take my # off her list (yeah, right), & said goodbye & hung up. I couldn't get her to stop talking so I could explain what the deal was. By the way, most of the other calls I've gotten from "Heather" I asked to be put on the DNC from their automated menu (isn't working, apparently). SO FRUSTRATING!!! Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
