Receive calls from woman at this number "chimney company" offering 1/2 price sale - called last week also. Man call previously from this number - explained my number is on the do not call list - mocked me and hung up. Nastly woman explained she has a 50% off offer but since I was being a rude she wouldn't explain more and hung up. Also claimed she's the only person who makes calls for the company. Time to notify the Attorney General's office - again.
beware of irish traveler scams! if you let them in your house to show them the chimney, they have someone else come in (while you're busy) and rob you.
Call from this number, a man said it was Stratford mechanical and offered me a deal; chimney sweep for 29.95. 2 men would come to the house and clean the chimney for 29.95. I asked where they were located and he said Boston. I said that they could not posibbly do this for 29.95 to keep them on the phone long enough to find out that Stratford mechanical is from Baltimore, they are not accredited by the BBB and the internet rate is 99.95. He hung up.
